Wetheriggs Pottery

Site Sensitivities: Scheduled Ancient Monument / Listed Building

Scheduled Monument Consent, Listed Building Consent and Planning Approval has been granted for the conversion of the 19th Century Wetheriggs Pottery to a private dwelling.

The conversion of the former workshops and iconic beehive kiln will constitute a unique new four-bedroomed family home. A client led exercise and labour of love, the project seeks to consolidate the existing historic fabric to retain the historic silhouette of the pottery and introduce sympathetic modern additions to breathe life into a historic structure that becomes a building of its time.

Numerous parallel consents were granted following extensive work and consultation with Historic England the local planning department and their conservation department.
